Introducing "Alive"
Alive - The Irish Living Food Association was founded in January 2003. The aim of the association is to help people to change to a living foods, or raw vegetarian lifestyle. It is a non-profit, non-denominational, educational umbrella organisation.
We meet regularly for talks and lectures on aspects of holistic healing and afterwards we enjoy a living food party. Some of our members have become very skilled at preparing excellent raw vegetarian meals. Potluck with a vegan or raw food dish is encouraged but not obligatory. A small donation is requested at each party to cover running costs. We have an active lending library of books and tapes, all inspirational and highly motivating.
